One of the things we like the best about BCBS Tonik is that it includes dental. Dental plans usually run around $30 per month, and to have it included in a plan that usually runs well under $100 per month for is a fantastic deal.

That is one of the reasons the program has become so popular with students. They like the fact they can keep their smiles in good shape with 100% coverage for their exams and 80% coverage on the fillings. The plan does not cover major dental items such as root canals, but dental insurance plans cover those area's poorly anyway. If you are young checkups and the occasional filling are two of the biggest things you need to stay on top on. Keeping good care of your teeth while you are young will insure that you have them when you inevitably grow old.

The plan also offer vison, and $50 towards your eye exam each year. The discount program included saves $100's of dollars on your next set of contacts, or glasses. They even have an arrangement where you can get a substantial discount on Lasik.
